PCR Machines

High-throughput PCR machines are used for nearly every experiment we run - the genome-wide SNP mapping protocol includes seven separate PCR steps, as well as several incubations and digestions. Each PCR machine pictured here can PCR four 96-well plates at once. The top shelf in the picture holds three 4-bay Maui Mixer hybridization systems, which allow us to hybridize twelve spotted microarrays a night.
